I have been reading up on the site and it seems chicken shashlik is quite a good option to have at an Indian. I'm going tomorrow- can anyone tell me what a shashlik typically consists of and roughly how many points it would be? I was going to have rogan josh but looks like thats 22 points!!! thanks so much!

Chicken Shashlik is lovely and very filling. Its big pieces of Tandoori Chicken, green peppers and onion cooked on a skewer. Its low in points so you look in the eating out guide for a low side dish.

Enjoy your meal

My local indian restaurant serves shashlick as a starter as well as a main.
the starter comes with side salad and mint yoghurt, The main comes with salad, mint yoghurt, vegetable curry , rice and nan bread.
The starter portion is the best one to have :D
thats what i always have but i do confess to stealing a spoonful of OH curry sauce. :(
