This dressing is great with oily fish, such as salmon, or pair it with fried rice and stir-fried veggies for a quick and healthy Asian supper.

Ingredients

Co-op Groundnut Oil

1 tablespoon(s)

Root Ginger

½ inch slice(s), grated

Garlic

1 clove(s), crushed

Soy Sauce

2 tablespoon(s)

Rice Wine Vinegar

1 tablespoon(s)

Honey

1 tablespoon(s), level

Chinese 5 Spice

¼ teaspoon(s), level

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon groundnut oil in a small pan, then add a 1cm-piece of fresh grated ginger and a small crushed garlic clove. Cook for 1 minute, then add 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 tablespoon rice vinegar, 1 tablespoon clear honey and ¼ teaspoon Chinese five spice. Simmer for 2 minutes, then serve.
